Gilbert Wegner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Wegner of Onaga, Kansas, who passed away on November 15, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Gilbert's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Gilbert has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Giltner Wegner and Frances Martin Wegner; his son Milton Wendland (Michael Rezayazdi); his brother Vernon Wegner (Janet); and his nephews, Allan Wegner and Robert Wegner (Cori). He was also cherished by two great nieces and two great nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (218 Leonard St, Onaga, KS 66521). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Onaga Cemetery.
