It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Joseph Kuhlmann of Olpe, Kansas, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kuhlmann and Regina Schafer Kuhlmann; his wife Marilyn Ann Burenheide of Joseph's Catholic Church; his siblings, Sonny, Robert, Arnold and Doris Redeker; and his daughter-in-law Genese Kuhlmann.
He is survived by: his children, Bart Kuhlmann (Joan) of Burlington, Mike Kuhlmann (Virginia) of Matfield Green, Craig Kuhlmann (Lisa) of Burlington, Lisa Cole (Mike) of Olpe and Linda Davis (Bruce) of Emporia; his siblings, Richard Kuhlmann (Wilma) of Emporia and Dorothy Schmidt of Olpe; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Kuhlmann of Homer Glen, Janet Burenheide of Hiawatha, Bob Burenheide of Topeka and Jerry Redeker of Olpe. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, and twenty nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions to the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus or Hand in Hand Hospice of Emporia can be sent in care of the funeral home.
