John Warren Markowitz Obituary
We bid farewell to John Warren Markowitz of Olpe, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 13, 2025 at the age of 93. John Warren touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Markowitz and Elizabeth Markowitz; and his siblings, Josette, Georgette, Franciscan, Joseph and George.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Robinson; and his children, Bob Markowitz (Robbin) of Troy, Shelly Trear, Lori Limchayseng of Wichita, KS and Patrick Markowitz (Lisa) of Reston, VA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Olpe Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Spring.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up in John's name to support the Veteran's Memorial at the Olpe Cemetery, which he was instrumental in creating.
