He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mater and Rita Mater (Fuerst); and his brother Dave Mater. He is survived by: his brothers, Kenneth J. Mater (Nancy) of Olathe and Dan Mater (Renee) of Olmitz; his sister-in-law Kim Schulz of Linwood; his grandchildren, Ava Bray, LaShauna Mickle, Eileah Morris and Randon Morris; and his great grandchild Katerina Chambers.
