He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Fuller Thompson and Bill Thompson; his daughter Teresa Thompson Hook Klaus (Jim); his wife Erma Ellen Clevenger of Bridget's Catholic Church; his son Marshall (Michelle); and his siblings, Vernadean Barnes, Collette Burgan and Vernon "Bud" Thompson.
He is survived by: his brother Dan Thompson (Suzanne). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a disease that the family became all too familiar with as grand daughter Shannon was born with.
