She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McConahy (Bus) and Mary McConahy; and her brother Robert McConahy (Margaret). She is survived by: her husband Phil Simon; her son Dr. Dan Simon (Lauren); and her siblings, Carol Delagrange of Hartville, Ohio and David McConahy (Mary Ruth) of Vero Beach, Florida. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Vickie was a strong supporter of cancer fundraising activities for research and cures, so in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to a cancer fund of your choice.
