He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Hanken and Marie Hanken (Schneberger); his brother Kenny; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Ryman and Patty Hanken.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Hanken (Ryman); his children, Jill Taylor (Mike) of Olathe, KS, Thomas Hanken (Bre) of Gardner, KS and Katie Foote (Eddy) of Overland Park, KS.; his grandchildren, Cole Taylor (Emilee), Lynndsie Taylor, Edward Foote, Harper Hanken and Ryman Hanken; his siblings, Randy, Lee (Lisa), Kevin (Tamara), Sue, Cindy, Gary and TJ (Dina); and his sister-in-law Deloris Oltman (Earl).
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church (15315 W 151st St, Olathe, KS 66062).
