It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve M. Wells of Olathe, Kansas, born in Russell, Kansas, who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Steve may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Steve touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Russell Fire Department, Russell Dream Theatre, and/or Randi's Rockin Dachshund Rescue, Leavenworth, KS.
