He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gilbert Mortimer and Dorothy Mortimer (Scott); his wife Vivian Mortimer (Hedeman); his son Christopher Mortimer; and his brother Curt Mortimer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Heidi Mortimer and Holly Collins; his son-in-law Eric Collins; and his grandchildren, Alec Collins, Cameron Collins and Karissa Collins.
