We bid farewell to Otis E. Patterson (Olathe, Kansas), born in Kansas City, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 9, 2025 at the age of 83. Otis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Patterson and Mary Lou Patterson; his sisters, Betty, Rose and Dorothy; and his sons, Scott and Jerry.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Basinger; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Basinger; and his grandchildren, Noah, Derek Basinger, Sarah Smith, Jessica Saiz, Hope Davis and Lilly Hinnen. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
