He was predeceased by: his mother Thelma J. Knight; his grandparents, Una, Ted Prost, Bill and Anna May Knight; his aunt Melva Smith; and his father-in-law Don Drosselmeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Drosselmeyer; his son Reece; his father Wayne Knight Sr.; his brothers, Wayne Knight Jr. and Bill Knight; his mother-in-law Peggy Drosselmeyer; and his sister-in-law Kristl Matthew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
