He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wildeman and Dora Wildeman (Selensky); his wife Carmelia "Candy" Wilson; and his siblings, Jacob, Herman, Leo and Delphine Marcotte.

He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Smith (Randall) of Olathe, KS, Leon Wildeman (Susan) of Williamsburg, KS, Valerie Stewart (Jon) of Clay, AL and Verlene Wildeman of Madison, IN; his brothers, Herbert Wildeman (Janet) of Denver, CO and Leroy Wildeman (Andrea) of Hoxie, KS.; his grandchildren, Brett Stewart (Nicole), Kelvin Wildeman (Chelsey), Paul Copeland, Emily Schmidt (Mark), Holly Ann Copeland (Dylan Carpenter), Betsy Smith, Brie Stewart, Kate Wildeman, Villette Pittman (Jonathan) and Reed Smith; and his great grandchildren, Lena Pittman, Emelia Stewart, Penny Pittman, Carter Schmidt, Brooks Stewart, Elizabeth Wildeman and Bennett Schmidt.

Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery Fund of Park, KS.
