She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gerald Wheeler and Johann Ellen Wheeler (Towlsey); and her brother Robert George Wheeler. She is survived by: her husband John Davy Brockway; and her siblings, Deborah Vander Waall and Charles Wheeler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kathy's (14169 W 115th Terrace, Olathe, KS 66062).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Breast Cancer Club.
