Though Gayle Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gayle Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Hoeppner and Viola Hoeppner; her sister Kay Rolan; and her grandson Israel Houk. She is survived by: her daughter Sonja Houk (Cecil) of Lees Summit, MO; her grandchildren, Levi Houk of Ypsilanti, MI, Kenneth Houk (Misty) of Bolivar, MO and Kayli Houk of Kansas City, MO; and her siblings, Ida Jean Rogers of Anacortes, WA, Nyla Hoeppner of Independence, MO, Ruth Bellmer of Georgetown, TX and Larry Hoeppner (Teresa) of Higginsville, MO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062).
