She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Hannon; her former husband George Chesney; her son Scott Chesney; and her brothers, Richard and Jim Hannon.

She is survived by: her mother Marjorie Hannon; her children, Steve Chesney (Pat) of Olathe, KS, Stephanie Chesney of Clermont and Shane Chesney (Barb) of Olathe, KS; and her siblings, David Hannon of Overland Park and Elaine Hodges (Dan) of Olathe, KS.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Olathe (2024 E 151st St, Olathe, KS 66062). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
