He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Nix and Glenna Nix. He is survived by: his brother David Nix; and his sister-in-law Kathy. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and grandkids.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dennis Nix's memory to the Olathe Club of the Deaf at 221 S. Chestnut St., Olathe, KS.
