He was predeceased by : his parents, Horace Cole and Vera Cole (Zimmer); and his sister Lorraine Renk. He is survived by : his wife Donna Jean Waleryszak; and his children, Cheryl (Carlos Kovacs), Jeff (Carole Cole), Scott (Robbin Cole), Brian Cole and Ken (Michele Cole). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (21650 W 115th Terrace, Olathe, KS 66061). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
