He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Margaret "Peg" Byrne (Hutting); his father-in-law James; and his wife Mary Jo. He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Patsy Kiefer, John and Patricia Cummings; his daughters, Cathy, Catherine Jo Mitchell (Peter) of Spring Hill, Deborah Byrne of Lenexa, Patricia Laudick (Gregory) of Spring Hill and Bernardette Hollis of Spring Hill; his grandchildren, Christina Mitchell, Kristi Morris, Nathan Mitchell, Niki Dreiling (Jarrod), Jeremiah Mitchell (Katia), Mitchell Meek, Kiana Meek, Aidan Meek, Janelle Laudick, Ryan Laudick (Caitlin), Amber Banwart (Jordan), Amanda Betzen (Joey), Alina Hollis, Hannah Hollis, McAuley Hollis and Keely Hollis; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Laudick and Wyatt Presunti Mitchell.
