We bid farewell to Artemisia Elizabeth Hollenbeck of Olathe, Kansas, born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 5, 2024 at the age of 74. Artemisia Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Artemisia Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her siblings, Edward Andrew Hibbard (Hank), Blake Hibbard, Joe Hibbard and Cythnia Hibbard; her daughter Mary Vanhooser (Aaron); and her grandchildren, Parker, Nathaniel and Taylor.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Misia's memory be made to the Olathe Public Schools Foundation.
