He is survived by : his daughters, Emily Knop (Brodie), Sally Effertz, Shawn, Reese, Neely, Abby Shopper, Lucy Shopper (John) and Lily Shopper.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (21650 W 115th Terrace, Olathe, KS 66061).
