He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Holle and Evelyn Holle (Crome); his wife Janet Kniesteadt; his sister Lorene Berger; and his son-in-law David Herrmann.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Erdmann (Gene), Barneston, Diane Sibley (Leroy), Allen Holle (Ashley) and Salina; his brothers, Armin Holle (Mary) and Gary Holle (Joyce); his grandchildren, Danielle Pishny, Sara Herrmann, Holden and Hendrix Holle; his stepgrandchildren, Megan Engelbrecht (Johan), Logan Sibley and Jason Sibley (Makenna); and his stepgreat-granddaughter Catherine Engelbrecht. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established to the American Legion and/or Operation BBQ Relief.
