He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Svoboda; his stepfather Rod Rosemeyer; his brother Tony Boltz; and his mother-in-law Liz Rowell. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Svoboda of Oberlin, KS; his son Anthony Svoboda of Oberlin, KS; his mother Barbara Rosemeyer (Rosemeyer) of Sioux City, IA; and his pets, Princeton and Rebel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
