She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jasper "W. J." Light and Mardelle Light; her father-in-law James Rex Carswell; her son Richie Lee; and her grandson-in-law Casey Quagliano.
She is survived by: her husband Vince Carswell; her children, Kristin Stragey (Jerry), Michael Perry (Emily DiAnne), Aaron Carswell (Adrienne) and Emily Perry (Jason); her siblings, Bill Light, Nancy Olsen, Linda Bushart, Ellen Hall and David Light; her mother-in-law Betty Carswell; and her grandchildren, Brooklyn Richards (Andrew), McKenna O'Hare (Corey Robins), Kaden O'Hare, Parker Stragey, Audra Perry, Aurie Perry, Bentlee Perry, Richie Perry, Camden Carswell, Taygen Carswell, Elisa Sorrell, Sabryn Quagliano (Tyler Oren), Sophie Williams (Karson Kern), Brylee Richards, Hadley Richards, Oakleigh Richards and Price Quagliano.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gobber Funeral Home (121 N Penn Ave, Oberlin, KS 67749). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Oberlin United Methodist Church (102 N Cass Ave, Oberlin, KS 67749).
Memorial contribution may be made out to Tunnel to Towers or McCook Humane Society.
