He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Henry and Ella Dorothea Rippe (Hesterman); and his son Adam Rippe. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rippe (Farr) of Oberlin; his daughter Belinda Larson (David) of Brooklet, GA; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Timothy and Emily.
A memorial has been established in Merlin's name for future designation.
