He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Johnson and Hazel Johnson (Williams); his wife Roberta; his siblings, Lowell, Lyle, Alice Capps and Ardis Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Georgia Johnson, Vidal Capps and Neil Votapka; his niece Kimberly Capps-Gautier; and his parents-in-law, Bob and Merna Wurm.
He is survived by: his caregiver Chantelle; his daughters, Sherri (Terry Ramsey) and Shelli (Jay Fortin); his grandchildren, Josh (Lisa Fortin), Jacob (Mika Fortin), Bryson (Megan) and Bryanna Ramsey; his great grandchildren, Brody, Aubree, Lane, Kasen, Kruze, Olivia, Jovi and Demi; his sister-in-law Jackie Votapka (Chantelle Fortin) of Clifton, KS; and his caregivers, Diana, Jessica, Kristin, Mary Jane, Gabbie, Gracie, Karina and Megan.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Decatur County Museum, or the Oberlin Dog Park.
