James Lee Soderlund Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Soderlund of Oberlin, Kansas, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred LeRoy and Elaine Marian Soderlund (Rippe); his wife Penny Soderlund; and his brother Trevor Soderlund. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Soderlund of Beloit, KS, Jamie Macfee (Jordan) of Beloit, KS and Jean Soderlund of Emporia, KS; his siblings, Kenny Soderlund of Beaver City, NE, Gene Soderlund of Horton, KS, Rick Soderlund of Abilene, KS, Tracy Soderlund of Danbury, NE and Lori Dreiling of Hays, KS; and his grandchildren, Taedan Macfee, Brynlee Macfee and Bailey Macfee.
