He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. Barber and Rose Barber (McQuaid); his wife Carol Jean Hanes; his son Shawn Barber; and his siblings, Marcene Wilson, Alma Ann Sweeney, Webb Barber and Jodie Barber.
He is survived by: his children, Damon D. Barber of Culbertson, NE, Danette Kramer (Lee) of Hastings, NE, Michelle Remmenga of Hastings, NE and Karina Fisher (Jon) of Oberlin, KS. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
