It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Ann Moore of Oberlin, Kansas, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard F. Reith and Martha K. Friedemann Reith; her son Melvin "Eric" Moore; her daughter-in-law Shelly Moore (Eric); her sister Evelyn May (Martin); her brother-in-law Martin May; her brother Fred Reith; and her sister-in-law Connie Reith (Fred).
She is survived by: her children, Debra Nickels (Mike) of McLouth, KS and Brian Moore (Heather) of Henderson, NV; and her grandchildren, Emma Robertson (Lane Goucher), Justine Moore (Bill Sedlick) of Lenexa, KS, Mark Nickels (Madi Wright) of Fort Scott, KS and Dylan Moore (Kaitlyn List) of Hettinger, SD. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (510 Wilson Ave, Oberlin, KS 67749).
In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to Sunflower Recreation Center, the Golden Age Center or St John's Lutheran Church all of Oberlin.
