She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph John and Elizabeth Catherine Schiltz (Schlageck); her husbands, Delbert Shields and Varlan Neal; her daughter Teresa Dowling; and her siblings, Harold Schiltz, Loretta Hayden, Mary Ann Seeberger, Florine Pritchard and Elizabeth Catherine.
She is survived by: her daughter Catherine; her caregiver Restorative Aide; and her children, Larry Shields of Lincoln, NE, Lloyd Shields (Clarice) of McCook, NE, Leslie Shields (Dee) of Lincoln, NE, Lee Shields of McCook, NE, Alan Shields of Oberlin, KS, Kathleen Tschetter (Jay) of Lincoln, NE and Charlene Agan (Daren) of Oberlin, KS. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
