With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Lynn Walz of Oakley, Kansas, who passed away on May 12, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leah M. Walz and Floyd M. Walz; his brother Roger M. Walz; and his sisters-in-law, Lila Walz and Kathy Walz.
He is survived by: his brother Raymond; his sister-in-law Pat Walz; and his brother Kelvin Walz. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will take place at the Oakley City Cemetery, Friday, May 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Family suggests donations to Northwest Kansas Educational Service Center (NKESC), 703 W. 2nd St., Oakley, or Oakley United Methodist Church, 611 Maple Ave., Oakley.
