Steven Eugene Matzek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Eugene Matzek of Oakley, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Gene Matzek; and his sister Kay Matzek. He is survived by: his mother Jaynell Matzek (Stambaugh) of Norton; his children, Rachel Matzek of Oakley, KS, Tanner Matzek (Kasie) of Liberal, KS, Sam Matzek (Heather) of Colby, KS and Jay Matzek of Silverdale, Washington; his grandchildren, Hayden Bahe, Tucker Matzek, Alex Matzek, Isaac Matzek and Kash Matzek; and his brothers, Rick Matzek (Annora) of Kearney, NE and Bryan Matzek (Donna) of Woodward, OK.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plumer-Gobber Funeral Home - Norton (215 W Main St, Norton, KS 67654). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
