She was predeceased by: her parents, George Maurath and Mary Maurath; her husband William "Bill" Andrew Goetz; her sisters, Beatta Robben, Arlene and Mary; and her siblings-in-law, Pauline Maurath and Joe Heskett.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Cox (James) of Newton, Amy Thrasher of Oakley, Neil Goetz of Palm Springs, CA, Cara Goetz of Oakley and Jason Goetz (JP) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her grandchildren, Camilla Panariello (Justin) of Punta Gorda, FL, Neil Goetz, Jr. of Palm Springs, CA, Amber Cox, Andrea Cox of Newton and Corey Thrasher of Goodland; her great grandchild Hank Panariello of Punta Gorda, FL; and her siblings, Clem Maurath, Elmer Maurath, Laverna Hartman (Elmer) and Rosalee Heskett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Baalmann Mortuary - Oakley (304 E 8 St, Oakley, KS 67748). A vigil service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Oakley (422 E 6th St, Oakley, KS 67748). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery- Oakley (3030 Logan County Rd 450, Oakley, KS 67701).
