With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Rains of Oakley, Kansas, born in Selden, Kansas, who passed away on June 7, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Brown and Elda Brown (Kincaid); her stepfather Albert "Red" Campbell; her husbands, Mike Rummel and Jeffrey Rains; her sister Deanna Heffington; and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Heffington, Joe Kruse and Leon Werth.
She is survived by: her children, Jodee Reed (Doug) of Oakley and Kelly Rummel (Flora) of Quinter; her sisters, Janice Kruse of Selden, Shirley Weber (Omar) of Colby and Charlene Hollandworth (Garry) of WaKeeney; and her grandchildren, Julie, K. J., Michael and McCulley Reed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
