She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph M Hockersmith and Myrtis Hockersmith (Terpening); her husband Robert A. Huelsman; her stepmother Imo Jean Hockersmith; her siblings, Vivian, Jerry and Harvey; her stepbrother Delbert Garrett; her siblings-in-law, Leroy Maier and Mary Lou Huelsman; her nephews, Justin Robben and Mason Hockersmith; and her niece Donna Jo Woofter.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Unrein (Brad) of Hays, KS and Randall (Cheryl) of Gardner, KS.; her grandchildren, Victoria Titchenor (Matthew), Clinton Clare, Jonathan Huelsman, Natalie Huelsman, Weston Huelsman, Addi Huelsman, Alex Unrein and Braden Unrein; her brother Donald (Eileen) of Oklahoma City, OK; her stepsiblings, Oura Garrett (Mickie) of Oakley, Connie Maier of Oakley and Charla Morris (Larry) of Shell Knob, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Lynn Hockersmith of Tucson, AZ, Sharon Hockersmith of Wichita, KS and Donna Garrett of Park, KS. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baalmann Mortuary - Oakley (304 E 8 St, Oakley, KS 67748). A vigil service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Oakley (422 E 6th St, Oakley, KS 67748). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery- Oakley (3030 Logan County Rd 450, Oakley, KS 67701).
