He was predeceased by: his parents, Corwin C. Spencer and Helen L. Spencer (Iserman); and his grandfather C. A. Spencer. He is survived by: his sister Katherine A. Dusckas; his close friend Bob J. Clark; his wife Kathy of Oakley; his son James C. Spencer (Traci M.); his grandchildren, Anna, Corwin, David, Daniel, Elias and Elena; his sons, Stephen D. Spencer (Madeline O'Brien) of Lawrence and Paul C. Spencer (Erica); his grandchildren, Aaliyah, Alyxandria, Isabella and Elliana; his siblings, James A. Spencer (Carol) and Diane C. Kirby (Spencer) of Longmont, CO; and his nieces, Sarah Millard and Laura Garwood.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home (217 Freeman Ave, Oakley, KS 67748). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
