She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vanmiddlesworth and Rachel Vanmiddlesworth. She is survived by: her husband Robert Phillips; and her children, Robert (Joy Phillips), Becky (Bill Jordan), Kendall (Robyn Phillips) and Kim (Rick Jones). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Iglesia Bautista El Faro, the Baptist ministry of her grandson in the Dominican Republic, and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
