He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Muehlenkamp and Katherina Muehlenkamp (Mense); his wife Sandra Speckman; his daughter Dawn Weitzeil; his siblings, Rosena Hemmert, Marceline Muehlenkamp, Frances Muehlenkamp, Bernadine Ladenburger, Leo and Fred Muehlenkamp; and his son-in-law Troy Fox.
He is survived by: his children, Bernadette Novotny (Brett), Theresa Fox, Robert Pritchard and James Muehlenkamp (Beverly); and his siblings, Lawrence Muehlenkamp (Margaret), Mary Gibson, Agnes Krause, Marjorie Brown (Dar) and Verna Wright. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.
