We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2023, at the age of 89, Barbara Howard of Oakley, Kansas, born in Quinter, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Rohr and Matilda Rohr (Herman); her husband Kenneth Howard; her son Fred Howard; her son-in-law Dennis Buchholz; her grandchildren, Travis Eugene Howard, Kenneth John Howard and Dr. Kristy Booker; and her siblings, Wendelin, Edward, Walter, Helen Zerr and Florena Heili.
She is survived by: her children, Ted Howard (Darcy) of Oakley, John Howard (Linda) of WaKeeney and Colette Weimer (Richard) of Englewood, FL; her daughter-in-law Melinda Howard of Quinter, KS; her grandchildren, Amy Gibson of Grainfield, Amanda Gallentine (Jerry), JD Draper of Oakley, Ron Nieman (Whitney) of Colwich, Denny Nieman (Traci) of Gem, Mindy Christensen (Parker) of Rexford, Julie Ziegelmeier (Warren) of Gem, Greg Nieman (Ericka) of Edmond, Johnny Howard (Jessica) of WaKeeney, Jay Dee Howard of WaKeeney, Dewey Howard (Amy) of WaKeeney, Cody Howard of WaKeeney, Tracy Buchholz (Jessica) of Ogallah and Scott Buchholz of Englewood, FL; and her siblings, Frank Rohr, Amelia Schwindt (Rohr), Elnora Kuehler, Esther Walker and Martina Stanton (Paul). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
