With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aletha M. Russell of Norwich, Kansas, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on November 20, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jackson Russell and Florence Ethlyn Russell (Wills); her husband Noah Childers; her sons, Chris and Daniel Hegi; and her siblings, Richard, Michelle, Cora Russell and Dixie Griffith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Adams of Norwich, KS, Laurie Testerman (John) of Neosho, MO and Paula Parsons of Mt. Vernon, MO; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Adams (Kari), Nathan Adams (Katie), Tiffany Riffel (Justin), Chris Jr. Hegi (Jennifer), Sierra Hegi (Nate Meyer), Chelsey Hegi, Colton Hegi (Tarah), Nick Bryant (Kylee), Ashley Terrazas (David), Cody Trautman (Shelby), Kylie Trautman, Chad Barrientos (Justine), Dakota Hegi (Kristen), Sarah Hegi, Lucas Dickens, Tommy Dickens, Cassie Dickens, Kerri Fields (Austin) and Aimee Goucher. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established to Milton Baptist Church, Ebersole Mortuary, Conway Springs.
