It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Friend Jr. of Nortonville, Kansas, born in Junction City, Kansas, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John H. Friend, Sr. and Grace Sullivan Friend; his sons, John Friend (Diana) of Ozawkie, KS, Patrick Friend (Pia) of Ozawkie, KS, James Friend (Susan) of San Antonio, TX and William Friend (Manuel) of Dallas, TX; his wife Margaret June Friend; and his sisters, Peggy Friend and Betty Friend. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Nortonville New Covenant UMC or F. W. Huston Senior Living or Nortonville Public Library and may be left in care of the funeral home.
