She was predeceased by: her parents, David Paul and Helen Elizabeth Chmidling (Bertels); her daughter Linda Jane Black; her grandson Arlyn Babcock; and her siblings, Mary Anne Chmidling, Mildred Peine, Eldon Chmidling, Daniel Chmidling, Jerome Chmidling, Francis "Frank" Chmidling and David "Bus" Chmidling.
She is survived by: her children, Lana Aspinwall (David), Phil Babcock (Verna) of Papillion, NE and Larry Babcock (Diane); her brother Harold Chmidling of Collinsville, OK; and her great great grandchild George Larison. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorials suggested to Nortonville Pleasant Grove Christian Church or to F.W. Huston Senior Living Center.
