It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Vernon Sheeley Sr. of Nortonville, Kansas, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Sheeley and Nola Sheeley (Koll); his wife Mary Ann Eckert; his daughter Andrea Jane Sheeley; his brother Bob Sheeley; his son-in-law Steven Reichart; and his grandson Austin Steven Reichart.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel, Terri Sheeley of Effingham, KS, Jackie Reichart of Holton, KS, Francis Sheeley, Jr. of Holton, KS, Lana, Jim Schuetz of Holton, KS and Jennifer Van Tol of Platte City, MO. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Ann's Catholic Church or the Francis Sheeley Memorial fund (Family designating at a later date) and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home.
