He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard "Bo" and Georgia "Toots" Binkley Mair; his spouse Carroll Wilcox; his children, Stephen Dennis Hale, II and Carol Denise Niemann (Gregg) of Katy, TX; and his siblings, Fern Ellen Chiles of Jacksonville, FL, Rita Eleanor Zirkle and John Howard Mair. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
