With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne LeVan Smith of Norton, Kansas, who passed away on December 5, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan R. Smith and Mildred E. Smith (Keene); and his siblings, Eugene Smith and Patsy Michael. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sauer; his sons, Michael Smith (Brigette Reagh) of Guthrie, OK, Brian Smith of Norton, KS and Tim Smith (Teri) of Norton, KS; his grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Abbie Smith Black (Joe) and Jesika Smith; his great grandchildren, Aubree Crawford, Kylan Coomes and Aiden Black; his brother Kenneth Smith (Lois) of Atwood, KS; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Skrdlant (Walter), Beverly Sidman (Eric), Kathie Skrdlant (Darrell) and Dorothy Sauer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and family friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Plumer-Gobber Funeral Home - Norton (215 W Main St, Norton, KS 67654).
