He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Caroline Hickert and Quinten Hickert; his stepfather Harold "Red" Stephen; his brother Rick Hickert; and his pets, Howie, Goldie and Leo.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jean Ann Bowman (Robert) of Norton, Rose Beal (Butch) of Smithville, MO, Tim Hickert (Dar) of Hays, KS, Linette Klaus (Ernie) of Hays, KS and Patty Gall (John) of Norton; and his sister-in-law Betty Hickert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
