He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Kay Bowers. He is survived by: his children, Brian McDowell of Garden City, KS, Teresa Strickland of Lyons, KS, William David McDowell of Colorado and Denise Ryan of Ledyard, CT. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
