She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcellus J. Koch and Wilhelmina M. Koch (Lackey); her husband Dean R. Haxton, Sr.; her grandson Ryan Haxton; and her siblings, Marjorie Koch, Robert and Leonard Koch.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Haxton (Karin) of Washington, D. C., Dennis Haxton (Jodie) of Wilber, NE, Susan Rhoades (Chuck) of WaKeeney, KS, Neil Haxton (Becky Wertenberger) of Grain Valley, MO, Janice Kirkhart (Brent) of Salina, KS and Patrick Haxton (Melanie) of WaKeeney, KS; and her siblings, Elmer Koch (Jeanette), Violenta Lockhart, Juanita Schmidt (Al Thompson), Stanley Koch (Carol) and Eldon Koch. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 30 great grandchildren.
