He was predeceased by: his parents, Fremont Stark and Elizabeth Stark (Grubbs); his daughter Amanda; and his sisters, Shelba Stark and Shirley Brinkman.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Gilman; his children, Jamie Wentz (Galen) of Norton, Kansas. and Jeremiah Stark (Alisha) of Norton, Kansas.; his great grandchild Wyatt Wentz (Sophie); his children, Paisley, Harper of Leoti, KS and Quentin Wentz (Savanah); his grandchildren, Lee, Waylon and Maisie; his children, Bryndon Wentz of Norcatur, KS, Avery and Parker Stark of Norton, KS.; his sister Pat Stark of Coffeyville, KS; and his in-laws, Mary and Louie Debo of Vinita, OK. He is also survived by five grandsons.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oronoque Cemetery. A reception was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 126 E Park St, Norton, KS 67654.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jim Stark Memorial Fund, to be distributed at a later date, sent in care of Plumer-Gobber Funeral Home, 215 W. Main St., Norton, KS 67654.
