She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy P. Ward and Lee Alice Ward (Griffith); her parents-in-law, Charlie and Olene Nelson; her brothers, Don Ward and Ted LeRoy Ward; her husband Bill Nelson of Norcatur, KS; her son Todd Nelson; her sister-in-law Carolyn Ward; and her nephew Craig Ward.
She is survived by: her daughter Tara Nelson (Anita Volskay) of Independence, MO; and her grandson Garrett Nelson of Wichita, KS..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:15 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (258 S Penn Ave, Oberlin, KS 67749). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Norcatur Cemetery.
