Whitney; and his siblings, Lewis Whitney, John Wesley Whitney, C. Vernon Whitney, Walter Whitney (Bud), Arthur Whitney, Floyd Whitney, Alpharetta Williamson and Mable Malcolm.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Fred Scheetz; his brother-in-law Bill Scheetz; his brother Vern; his daughters-in-law, Torre Whitney of St. Francis, KS and Marnie Whitney of Olathe, KS; his granddaughter Marissa Niemeyer (Tony); his great grandchildren, Madison, Tenley of Gardner, KS, Elijah Whitney (Corrie Price) and Boston of Kansas City, MO.; his stepgranddaughter Teresa Douthit (Tom Svoboda); and also, Grant, Elena of Junction City, KS, Chad Douthit (Tanya), Oliver of Basehor, KS, Megan Downey (Chuck), Carter and Austin of St. Francis, KS..
